Groups of three will form to create a section of a site on the novel, As I Lay Dying, in order to express in the on-line media some of what the class has done and learned that could be helpful for other students reading this text.
These can include an annotated bibliography section, a character and narrative technique guide, summarized arguments from course papers, whole essays, and a guide to on-line resources.
There will be some time in class to work on these projects although some time outside of class should be planned for and group meetings, tasks, and e-mail conferencing arranged.
The projects are due on March 18th by 5pm. I will need to tranfer the files to the course server, so projects should be handed in on Macintosh disks, making sure that all file names are consistent in the links. I will not have time to alter names.
The projects will be evaluated on thoroughness, effectiveness of design and writing, functionality, and usefulness to others. Total possible is 150 points.
